Character and Connections!

Programs for Girls:
Daisies (Grades Pre K –1) Brownies (Grades 1-3)
Juniors (Grades 3-6) Teens (Grades 6-12)
Specialty The goals of the Girl Scout Program are to give all girls a safe and nurturing environment in which to grow strong so they can assume the role of active citizens in their own community and in an increasingly global society.

How do girls grow strong?

By developing to their full potential, relating to others, gaining values, and learning to contribute to the improvement of society.

Monmouth Council of Girl Scouts is comprised of more than 12,500 girls and more than 4,500 adult volunteers in Monmouth and Northern Ocean Counties.

Year-round, Girl Scouts in kindergarten through high school participate in a variety of innovative, interactive activities. Girl Scout programs address topics such as astronomy, health, math, money management, nature, science, sports, theater and much more!

Through Monmouth Council, Girl Scouts build self-esteem and essential leadership skills. They learn the importance of altruism first-hand by completing thousands of hours of community service. In partnership with their leaders, girls are encouraged to identify needs in the community and craft unique service programs that will make a difference in the lives of their neighbors.
